Duties and Responsibilities

As Training & Mission Wellness Coordinator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

· Assist the Training Manager in developing and implementing the resort's Training Plans, based on systematic research, training needs analysis and business priorities.

· Support the development and implementation of the property's Training & Development strategy, ensuring alignment with operational requirements, business goals and Six Senses standards.

· Act as the Mission Wellness Champion, taking ownership of the planning, coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of the property's Mission Wellness strategy and initiatives.

· Coordinate with Department Heads and Departmental Trainers to identify training needs, monitor departmental training and follow up on progress.

· Assist in planning and delivering training sessions, onboarding, orientation, on-the-job training and development programmes.

· Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, manuals and educational resources, ensuring alignment with Six Senses standards.

· Coordinate mandatory training programmes and brand initiatives.

· Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, participation and performance indicators.

· Act as the property's Mission Wellness Champion, taking ownershp of the planning, coordination and implementation of the Mission Wellness strategy.

· Lead the annual and monthly Mission Wellness calendars, ensuring activities cover the different dimensions of wellbeing and respond to Host needs.

· Lead the Mission Wellness Committee, organizing meetings, gathering feedback and following up on actions and initiatives.

· Coordinate and actively participate in the implementation of Mission Wellness activities, including special campaigns, wellbeing weeks and awareness days.

· Promote and coordinate Host wellbeing initiatives and employee benefits, ensuring Hosts are aware of and engaged with the resources available.

· Manage and promote the Mission Wellness Passport and monitor participation and engagement.

· Evaluate Mission Wellness activities through feedback, participation and engagement data, continuously improving the programme.

· Coordinate internal communications related to Training, Mission Wellness, Host engagement and HR initiatives, including the Host Instagram account and physical/digital communication channels.

· Support the organization and communication of Host events, activities and team gatherings.

· Promote a culture of continuous learning, development, wellbeing and engagement across the property.

· Uphold Six Senses standards, safety and statutory requirements and perform any additional duties assigned by the Human Resources Training Manager, Assistant Director of Human Resources and/or Regional Director of Human Resources - Europe.

· Keep up to date with developments in hospitality training, learning methodologies and technology, continuously seeking opportunities to improve training practices.

Skills and Experience

To execute the position of Training & Mission Wellness Coordinator, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, with proven results, including:

• Diploma or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Education, Hospitality or a related discipline. A degree or diploma from a recognized hospitality or business school is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Training, Learning & Development, Human Resources or operational role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.

• Passion for learning, talent development, Host engagement and Mission Wellness, with a genuine interest in leading by example.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively to different audiences.

• Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to develop and implement new training, learning, engagement and Mission Wellness initiatives.

• Strong understanding of talent development and learning & development best practices, with the ability to identify training needs, develop programmes and facilitate learning.

• Ability to motivate and inspire others, build strong relationships and create an engaging learning environment.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple training and Mission Wellness initiatives simultaneously.

• Proficient use of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as Canva or similar design/editing tools.

• Comfortable using e-learning platforms, digital learning tools and mobile applications.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish. Additional languages are considered an advantage.

• Thorough understanding of Six Senses training programmes, guidelines, rules and regulations, brand standards, operating standards, facilities and services, or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly.

• Must hold the legal right to work in Spain. A valid EU/EEA passport or appropriate visa/work permit is required where applicable.

• Must comply with all legally required certifications, health and safety requirements and mandatory training applicable to the position.
