Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, responsibility is assumed for supporting and overseeing the Night In-Room Dining operation, ensuring the delivery of exceptional products and services in full alignment with Six Senses brand operating standards.
The duties and responsibilities include:
Ensure all guests are greeted courteously, professionally and attentively, creating a personalized and intuitive experience in line with Six Senses service philosophy.
Supervise and support the night In-Room Dining operation, ensuring smooth, efficient and timely service at all times.
Ensure all telephone calls are answered courteously and efficiently according to departmental standards.
Oversee the accurate taking and processing of orders from all Food & Beverage outlet menus.
Maintain an empathetic and guest-focused attitude, handling special requests and concerns with care and professionalism.
Ensure prompt and efficient service delivery in accordance with brand standards and LQA expectations.
Verify that all mise-en-place for night service is properly prepared, organized and maintained prior to service periods.
Maintain excellent knowledge of all outlet menus (food and beverage), wine lists, promotions and daily F&B activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all F&B outlet opening hours and operational procedures.
Recommend and promote items as directed by management, ensuring consistent upselling and revenue optimization.
Ensure accurate knowledge of menu pricing and actively encourage upselling when appropriate.
Supervise the cleanliness, maintenance and proper functioning of all departmental equipment during the night shift.
Support in training, guiding and motivating In-Room Dining Hosts working during the night shift, ensuring adherence to service standards.
Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction and team performance, addressing any operational challenges proactively.
Uphold Six Senses guidelines, sustainability values and operational standards, ensuring performance benchmarks are consistently maintained and exceeded.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and respond proactively to guest feedback.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the In Room Dining Manager or EAM F&B Director and Assistant F&B Director.
Skills and Experience
To execute the position of Night In-Room Dining Supervisor (Night Shift), I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
At least 2–3 years of experience in In-Room Dining, Restaurant or similar F&B outlet within a luxury hotel environment, including supervisory exposure.
Demonstrated experience in frontline Food & Beverage operations with a strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
Personally involved and visible during operations, with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of providing clear direction and ensuring smooth night shift performance.
Strong understanding of product and service quality, with a passion for excellence and attention to detail aligned with LQA and Forbes standards.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are highly preferred.
Technical skills include advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Opera PMS, CRM systems and Micros POS platforms.
Knowledge of resort policies regarding reservations, room service procedures, discounts, food promotions and detailed F&B booking processes.
Valid UE work permit.
